2004 fing alles mit einer Geschäftsidee an.

Stefan Mayer war schon immer abenteurlustig und da hat es auch keinen gewundert, dass der unternehmerisch denkende Kölner samt Familie nach Neuseeland auswandern wollte, um seine Idee in Realität umzusetzen.

Seine Geschäftsidee war es den Zeitunterschied zwischen Europa und Neuseeland zu nutzen, um SAP Support für Europäische Unternehmen in der Nacht anzubieten. Der Rest ist Geschichte. Heute hat Centrix 30 Mitarbeiter mit Hauptsitz in Hamilton, Neuseeland und einer lokalen Niederlassung in Köln.

Die Geschichte der „Mayers“ wurde in der Fernsehsendung ,,Die Auswanderer’’ dokumentiert – und endete, zum Glück, mit einem Happy End.
